about me
The Formal Bio:
In early 2008 Michelle left a fulfilling career as interactive director in an integrated marketing agency to pursue her passion for writing great stories filled with fascinating, intense, real characters who will do anything necessary to achieve their dreams. She’s co-written the audio-play of a Louis L’Amour short story produced by Bantam and Beau L’Amour, worked as an executive assistant for a Hollywood publicist, taught English in Spain, and enjoyed the lofty title of Romance Director running the personals sections of a newsweekly in Los Angeles. She lives in Austin, Texas and spends her spare time adding poems to TheGladdestThing.com and creating websites. Her story “A Spaghetti Kind of Love” appears in the Recipe for Love anthology published by Highland Press.
The Real-Me Bio:
Writing my own bio kills me. What are you interested in? Where I was born? So-Cal. Where I live now? Suburbia. Pets = 0, Kids = 0, Husband = 1. I’m brunette and I can tell you the exact L’Oreal shade if you’re interested, but I’ll assume you’re not. I recently cut off most of my curls and donated them to Locks Of Love, which was a bizarre yet satisfying experience; not often after getting a haircut do I get to walk away with a bag full of hair. I’m a writer and a geek, and I love poetry and British history and sci-fi and mysteries and horror stories and P.G. Wodehouse and salty-sweet desserts. I’m going to go have one now.
